Eterna PLC builds library for Lagos school
An energy company, Eterna Plc, has opened a library at the Comprehensive High School, Alapere in Ketu, Lagos, to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
The firm said the library project was also component of its Corporate Social Responsibility in a declaration on Wednesday.
Eterna's Managing Director, Mahmud Tukur, who was represented by Finance's Executive Director, Kudi Badmus, said at the opening, "We're identifying with the project because it provides us the chance to grow and develop the country's potential young individuals. The library has been equipped with solar panels to ensure a steady supply of energy and make studying easy.We hope some of you will become physicians and technicians, or even educators, using the materials we have supplied. "James Shadare, representative of the Tutor General / Permanent Secretary, Education District 2, said the wound in the library improves teaching and learning for educators and students. "I urge you to jealously guard your library. I would also like Eterna to extend her helping hand to other colleges to encourage the students to learn, "he said.

The school principal, Giwa Oyebola, said when it mattered most, the business went to the help of the college.
"Because the library is a repository of information in every teaching setting, you have constructed a very appropriate instructional building. For the students, the college needed a good library. I encourage you (students) to take advantage of the chance you have on a silver plate and to study in the future to become remarkable individuals, "he said.
