Kaduna offers Harvard scholarship to best graduating KIF fellow
At the graduation ceremony of the KIF pioneer set, El-Rufai announced the offer in Kaduna.
"The Fellows justified the hopes invested in them," said the governor of the scheme's 16-member pioneer group that brings young Nigerians from across the nation together.
He stated that Jatau would be funded at Harvard or the Lee Kwan Yew School of Public Policy for a Masters degree, while his unique assistants would be the second and third best.
He recognized as Mohammed Usman and Leonel Echa the second and third best.
He added that the chairperson of the board of directors, Keem Belo-Osagie, would likewise pursue scholarship possibilities for interested members of the graduating class in the Knight Hennessy Fellowship at Stanford University.
He clarified that in 2018, the government of Kaduna State launched the KIF program to assist create and nurture management skills across Nigeria.

"We exposed the fellows in the daily job of government agencies, presentations and seminars on management, working trips and lecture series to a wealthy and diverse program of immersion.
"This allowed them to communicate government, company and other endeavors from the experiences and perspectives of leaders.
"As a intentional interference in building management ability and encouraging a meritocratic culture, we made significant investments in these fellows.
"As they graduate today, they were empowered to assume management duties and help our nation master the difficulties of an increasingly complicated and competitive globe," he said.
The governor clarified that the program was named after Sir Kashim Ibrahim, a former Northern Region Governor for his management role in constructing the region when dropping the colonial shackles.
"I am particularly proud and impressed by the energy, zeal, skill and capacity of Kashim Ibrahim Fellows ' pioneer set, which has set an outstanding standard for potential program attendees.
"We are looking forward to welcoming the second set in August as the pioneer fellows graduate today," he said.

The graduating fellows defined the initiative as' life altering,' adding that their orientation and outlook on efficient management and public service had totally altered in the program.
Jemimah Jatau, of Kaduna State's Jaba Local Government Area, especially thanked the state government for the chance to engage in the program.
She defined the scholarship prize as a witness to the youth trust of the government.
