University of Ibadan forced out 5 students, rusticates

Ibadan Oyo State University Authority said it had expelled no less than five of its learners.
The learners who were expelled from the institution included; Ajuwon Gabriel, Yetunde Mary Agbanigo, Kehinde Samuel Aluko, Olufemi Olusegun Ogunwo and Saheed Ademola Oshodi with matriculation numbers, respectively, EO27559, EO30033, EO16154, EO23128 and EO25356.
The institution's registrar, Olubunmi Faluyi, said in a unique serial number 4220 newsletter that the institution's Central Student Disciplinary Committee (CSDC) took the decision on the erring learners at its session on Thursday, May 9, 2019.
In the DAILY POST sighted newsletter on Thursday, Faluyi added that 16 other pupils were rusticated as well.
Ten students from the institution's Distance Learning Center (DLC) were rusticated for examination misconduct for two semesters.
The learners concerned are: Adekemi O. Balogun, Communication and Language Arts EO26918, Seyi Odufuwa, Department of Economics EO28153; Blessing Ajeh, Guidance & Counseling EO15987.
Omi-Damola Oyin, EO22060; Otepola Adeniyi, EO29832; Yekini Saheed Abiodun, EO24999, Political Science Department.
Rebecca Ediale from the Department of Social Work, EO15163; Ogiogwa Eunice EO37834 and Lawal Kafilat Ajibola, EO 37850.
However, from the Department of Economics, Kolajo Olajide Kazeem, EO 29368, was released from the examination misconduct leveled against her.
Six regular students from the Department of Archeology and Anthropology are also rusticated for two semesters of gross misconduct.
The pupils impacted were: Opeyemi Abon, 183966; Opeoluwa Oloundare, 184331; Olalekan S. Adejumo, 190213; Akinboade Adesomoju, 184008; and David O. Gabriel, 185843.
